Lists are crucial to organization and time management. They are the best way to keep track of things that need to be done.
For your lists to be effective, you will need to adopt a non-negotiable routine for using them.

For paper lists, as you complete it each item, scratch it out with a pen or marker.
This will give you a better visual picture of what’s left to do.
Avoid “collecting” these lists. You don’t want to be surrounded by stacks of lists with no clue about which one to use.
At the end of every day, create a new list for the next day and throw away the old one.
