Feeling lost or at loose ends when you’re not working? Break time is an opportunity to relax, to do something different.

Here are some ideas:

  1. Notice how you’re feeling – any frustrations or other negatives floating around? Are you feeling stressed?

  2. If so, take a Voo Break – lie down and do some Voo Breathing or just plain Vooing.

Instructions for the Voo are here.

  3. Go outside, get some fresh air. Walk in the grass or dirt with your bare feet – this is great for your nervous system.

  4. If your work involves a screen, try to avoid screens during your break time.

  5. Read a book or magazine.

  6. Work on a hobby project.

  7. Plan for something – an outing, a shopping trip, a work project.

  8. Do anything that takes you completely away from your work for a few minutes. Preferably, something you enjoy.

Remember: You are not alone.
